We are currently looking for a Web Development Director to join our client?s in-house Creative Services team. This individual will lead the team for ongoing management, creation and updating of our client?s web-based and database-driven applications. The successful candidate must be an expert in Drupal 7.0, have an attention to detail, and an understanding of technology and its applications and implications as it relates to client deliverables. The applicant must be able to work as part of a close-knit, cross-functional project team with both technical and non-technical team members, while also being able to be proactive and function independently. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are necessary. S/he must possess extreme attention to detail and a high level of accountability and responsibility.

Builds websites working with designers/from design templates
Maintains websites
Builds HTML emails
Assures quality of own work, tests codes/browsers/content and checks links
Maintains consistently high development/coding standards and is aware of new techniques and trends in development
Actively shares knowledge of emerging interactive tools and development techniques with others in the Creative Department
Participates in project budget and schedule development and complete all assigned project phases on time and on budget

Requirements
Minimum 3 years client services or agency experience
Minimum 5 years experience and knowledge of front-end web development
Solid grasp of fundamental concepts of development
Experience working with creative directors/designers
Is knowledgeable and proficient in emerging interactive tools
Ability to perform QA testing on IE8+, Safari, Chrome, Firefox required
Experience in developing sites with adherence to 508/WCAG compliance/general accessibility standards experience required
SEO knowledge
No WYSIWYG editors please
Bachelors degree in computer science, web development or related discipline required
Drupal 7 required; experience should include knowledge of Views module, configuration, and themes, not just content entry
Responsive development experience required
HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/JQuery, PHP, MySQL required
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required
Adobe Photoshop CS3+ experience required (other Adobe products a plus)
Web/Application Server administration experience (IIS)
GIT version control experience a plus
Parallax development experience a plus
LAMP experience a plus
Knowledge of video editing software a plus
Limited travel may be required
